Patient Counseling Extract and Hold
Important Information
TG17 is only available for XomeDx and GenomeSeqDx testing. Adding the TG17 test code to a testing order for these tests will automatically place the test on hold. Upon receipt of the sample, GeneDx will initiate two separate outreach attempts to schedule a pre-test genetic counseling appointment. If the patient does not respond within 10–12 days or fails to attend a scheduled appointment, the hold will be lifted, and the sample will proceed to the next step toward test activation.
